Mechanical Behavior of Concrete Prepared with Waste Marble Powder

Marble production and processing generates a large amount of marble powder waste that has great potential for cementitious material. This paper investigates the application with different replacement ratios cement in concrete experimentally studies physical mechanical properties this green type. Artificial original are used at levels. The effect kinds its ratio on discussed. results show compressive strength, splitting tensile flexural strength change significantly when substitution rate exceeds 10%; decreases as increases. usage artificial plays weakening role performance due to resin composition compared using powder. stress–stain curves two types compared. For concrete, by powder, variation strain value is not obvious less than 20%, but peak ultimate decrease increase.
